This year's program, titled "Of Psalms and Kings", features Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms"
and Zimmermann's "Psalmkonzert". In addition, there are several shorter works by Parry,
Vaughan Williams, and Handel. The Chorale will also perform a setting of the Twenty-Third

The Chorale will present several special events during the month of July, including an open
reading of Verdi's Requiem on July 11. On July 16, members of the Chorale will take part in
the Bar Harbor Festival's performance of Madama Butterfly. During the week of July 19, there
will be a master class and recital by soprano Carole FitzPatrick. To conclude the summer,
Music Director David Schildkret, in his eleventh season with the Chorale, will conduct the
concerts on August 7 and 8 at St. Saviour's.
All experienced singers are welcome. A registration fee is required, though some scholarships
are available. For more information about the schedule and on how to join, contact Dave and
